I'm filled with the best of intentions in regards to this journal and then to hades in handbasket that thought goes.
I've not been doing alot of stitching. Why I'm not sure, but I've really struggled with my stitching as of late.
I did stitch today 2 hours and 40 minutes, actually. I picked up Elise's RR7 piece which is the most beautiful dragon. I'm not much in to dragons and not something I would have stitched had it not been for 'having' to do it for this RR. I'm really happy with it. It is gorgeous. This is one of the reasons I love participating in RR's is that you work on pieces you would never do otherwise. I'm hoping to keep with my stitching this week and if so I should have this gem in the mail by early next week!
Things in life are moving forward. I don't know when it happened or how, but I have this amazing life. What happened to the woman that didn't know how to get out of bed in the morning or sleep at night for that matter? She has been replaced by this new woman (me) that is so full of life and can't wait to face each day and see what it has to bring. If it weren't for financially uncertainty I don't think I'd have a single worry in my life! I have such freedom in that it is truly amazing and empowering!
I've been trying to do things around the house that don't cost me any money or very little. I've been trying to clean the garage out of junk and what a chore! Velda and Peter are going to take some stuff to the dump for me so that will help alot. I'm trying to burn any stuff I can in the fire pit on the back deck. It is very freeing and liberating. I feel like I'm cleaning more than the garage when I'm burning stuff it's like burning away the hurts and pains of a life so filled with crap.... I call this burning 'purging my life of Rob'! I really need to work through these negative thoughts and feelings I carry within myself when thinking of him. I really don't want to become bitter and these last few statements sound soooo bitter.
Things with the girls are going well. They are wonderful girls and keep me busy, but never ask for more than I can give. Sometimes they ask for too little, but even for that I'm thankful. I am truly blessed and they are so much a part of my peace and happiness.
Again, I'll try to stay on top of this journal. I really do enjoy writing it, but most days am just too lazy.

February Stitching Recap:
I was able to get some good stitching time in this month. I fell short of my personal goal of an hour per day, but I was close. I know close only really counts in horse shoes and something else, but forget what at this ghastly hour.
I came in with a total of 26 hours and 25 minutes. All things considered I'm a happy camper.
I'm not sure what to expect from March. I know I'm probably not going to be able to do a lot of stitching on my own pieces. I don't mind really. I will be working on Elise's RR 7 piece. I'm really looking forward to this one. I'm doing the Summer Dragon. I'm not a big fan of green and this piece has a lot of green. I think I'll be okay though because when I was pulling the colours I was loving them! I'm hoping to start on it tomorrow (really today) after I've had some sleep. I don't trust myself with anyone else's piece when I'm this tired!
In other mindless nattering. I'm going to try and do a better job of journalling my stitching. That is my gift to you. I'm a funny girl, aren't I? Who do I think I am? Oh ya, right now an exhausted woman that would give anything to be sound asleep in comfy bed.
I'm off to get in to trouble elsewhere!
Love and happy stitches days to you.

My next piece in my rotation is Angel Proclamation. It has been way too long since I've worked on this particular piece. I will work on AP for 5 hours then go back to Spirit of Christmas for an hour.
Angel Proclamation 5 hours done
Spirit of Christmas 3 hours
Hydrangea Harvest 5 hours
Finish It piece 10-5 hours
RR 7 piece 5 hours
All things considered in my personal life there really isn't much to share. A has been diagnosed with Strep throat. Poor kid. She is on antibiotics right now. I'm hoping they get to working quickly. It breaks my heart to see either of my babies in pain and she is in alot of pain.
I guess that's all for now.
Love and happy stitching days to all.

I had an awesome stitching day today. I worked on Job's Tears for 1hr 25 minutes. It is really coming along. I put some backstitching in to it. I'm at 45 hours now. It is really looking good.
I worked on Giggles Boy today for 2 hours and 45 minutes. I just did beads on it. I beaded the 'N, G, E & L' plus some other beads up around the snow swipes. Beading is sooo slow going, but it looks awesome so far.
I didn't do much today. Just worked and cleaned up when I got home and thenhung out with the girls. I just love being able to spend time with them. They are so fun and really the highlight of my life. Life was about stitching today and nothing much else, so I don't have much to share with you on the life front.
Love ya bunches

I worked on Paula Vaughan's Job's Tears today. I logged 3 hours 25 minutes for a total on this piece of 43 hours 35 minutes. I will definetely get to my 45 hours tomorrow.
I will be working on Mirabilia's Giggles boy tomorrow after I hit my total time on Job's Tears. I want to contribute more to the January theme piece. I just have to remember when go home tonight to get my beading needle and the chart with the bead symbols.
I would like to say that life is slowing down, but that would be a big lie. I've got so much on the go and how I've managed to keep all the balls in the air is something I'll never understand.
I'm having a girls night at Pam's tonight with some of the coolest women I know. It will be a big-giggle-drink-your-face-off-kinda-night. I don't know how functional I'll be tomorrow, but tonight promises to be fun.
That's all I have on the go for now.
Love to all and happy stitching days to you.

I was able to get in another 3 hours on Fairy Elf. It is coming along and I love it too. I've hit the 5 hour mark on this one, so I'm done for a bit with this piece. Again, another Mirabilia piece and I'm thankful for it.
I picked up Elise's Peter Rabbit from Velda today. I'm looking forward to working on it. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it though. I'm thankful that Elise isn't in a huge hurry for it, but I don't want to keep it too long. I'll give it some thought in the next couple days and figure out where and when I'll fit it in to my rotation.
Things are moving along. Things with the girls and I are plugging along like normal. All other aspects of life are as to be expected at this point in the game. Not really a game anymore, but it's easier to keep it light than to get bogged down with all the reality of it.
Thanks for letting me share my stitching log and thoughts with you.
Happy stitching days and love to you.

I worked on Giggles Boy today when I got home. I really want to get the time in on this piece so I can post an update. I was only able to get 55 minutes in on him for a total now of 47 hours 15 minutes. I'm getting closer ladies. If I work on it tomorrow at work I should have an update by tomorrow night.
All in all I had a great stitchy day. This is the most I've stitched in one day in a very long time 3 hours 15 minutes I now have 8 pieces in rotation I must get myself under control. I'm getting carried away with myself and my crazy number of WIP. I must get some pieces finished up and soon. Ya right!
Nothing much exciting happened today. I just worked and cleaned the house when I got home from work. I was able to get my home stitching time in when the girls were at the mall.
I did go hang out with Pam for a bit. Didn't do much. Just killing time together watching hot country music videos and eating pizza. It was good to just kick back and relax.
I'm off to bed soon. I have this terrible hoarse throat and I'm hoping a couple of good nights sleep will help cure whatever the heck is ailing me. I just really want to start feeling like myself again.

I worked on the snow around the outside of the design and the pom pom on the hat. I put in a little backstitching as well. It was pretty easy going and looks like a lot more than 1 hours worth of work. I was wanting to do some beads but I can't seem to find the bead key. I don't know where it went, but for the life of me I can't find it!
I'm going to be starting Mirabilia's Fairy Elf on Saturday, but then I think I'm going to keep Giggles as my focus piece for the rest of the month.
I'm so happy to be stitching again. Tonight is the first time since all the negative comments that I stitched at home. It was a wonderful feeling and one I can't wait to feel again. Thanks to all of you for sticking with me through the dark moments and having faith in my desire and passion for this wonderful craft. I will be forever thankful to you all.
I had a great day today. I got to chat with a few of you before taking off for the day. It was good to catch up with you all.
I had a hair appointment today. My hair turned out great. I love my hairdresser for so many more reasons than just that she is an awesome hairdresser. The day I found her as my hairdresser I didn't realize I was making myself a friend. You just never know when that is going to happen, do you? She has seen me in some of my darker moments in regards to my marriage, as I guess hairdressers have a tendency to do. She offered me some great advice today and the gift of her friendship along with an offer to help me around my house. Let me tell you, her house is one of my favorite places to visit. She decorates from my heart. I love it. She did give me a business card of one of her clients that is a general contractor. I'm going to call him soon about doing drywall headers for closet doors so I can get working towards fixing up my house.
I had a counsellor appointment today. It went really well. He tells me I'm doing an amazing job. He tells me he's proud of my progress and that I've surrounded myself with an amazing support system! Doesn't he know it!!!!! Thank you all for the part of that support system you represent.
Pam had myself and the girls over for dinner tonight, which was sooo delicious and a great way to spend the day and evening. Do I ever have some dinners to pay back and I actually look forward to the honour.
I think that is all I've to share with you today. I don't know how my life got so full from such a short time ago feeling so empty, but I'm thankful for it every day. Every day is a new day for me. I don't know what tomorrow will bring or who I will have to honour of spending time with or meeting, but every day is a gift and I love it.
Love hugs and happy stitching

I stitched on Mirabilia's Giggles Boy tonight. I logged 2 hours 10 minutes. I got lots done, but that is bound to happen if you actually give it time to happen. My current time total is 45 hours 20 minutes.
I really love this piece. It is the perfect piece for me right now, easy and relatively fast. I want to focus on this piece for the month of January to go along with the January theme. What I want to do and what I actually end up doing could be worlds apart though If I could stay focused on it for the month I might just get it finished. I will atleast work on this to the 50 hour point so I can share a WIP.
I didn't do much today around the house, because I spent my day at Pam's waiting for the internet/digital tv guy to come hook her up! I make it sound like this was a problem for me, but it really wasn't It was time well spent because now Pam's on line and I couldn't be happier about that. Pam.... I'm waving at you again!
I'm at work right now and can't wait to be finished but another few minutes yet. I'm off Monday and Tuesday. I have so much to do I don't know why I'm happy to be off. It is so much more relaxing to be at work. I get to play on the internet my whole shift, read a book, play MSN radio... such a rough job.
Well, enough chattering from me for now ~ thankfully
Happy stitching day wishes to you all.
Love ya bunches

I stitched on Summer Breeze for another 55 minutes tonight. I've a total time of 85 hours 5min. I worked on the bench and a tiny bit on the quilt. It doesn't look like a lot, but with every stitch I'm one more closer to finished. This is my time up on this particular piece.
My next piece up in line is Mirabilia's Giggles Boy. I'm really looking forward to working on this one. I would like to work on it a lot this month to go in line with the month's themes. I'm hoping to have an update for you soon. This piece is currently sitting at 43 hours, so when I hit 50 I'll bombard you with an update.
I've been looking at new patterns lately which has been alot of fun. I found the stocking I want to do for myself. It is listed on E-bay and I put a bid in on it I'm not holding out much hope on getting it, but you never know.
Having a great day today. Pam and I hung out and did some shopping. I bought a new duvet for a my new room.... out with old and in with the new I'm slowly getting things moving with my room. It is a long way from being ready to be torn apart, but I'll get there eventually. When shopping today I also bought another artificial Christmas tree for my front room for next year. I'm hoping to still be in the house, but if not I'll deal with the 2 tree thing when I get to that.
While out my running around with Pam today we popped in to visit Velda for a minute (shortest visit on record). It was great to see her again. Best part is I got some heavy duty boxes from her to pack some of his things. It has been very therapeutic to pack his things. The tears are gone to be replaced by a strong resolve to move my life, as well as the girls' life in a positive forward direction. Chin held high with an honest heartfelt smile on my face.... amazing what a month can do for a girl's frame of mind.
Thats all for now.
Love and hugs,

I've logged another 45 minutes on Summer Breeze so I'm somewhere around 83 hours. I'm only going to work on this piece until 85 hours when I'll move on to Giggles Boy. I'm looking forward to that one which is in line with the monthly themed SAL's.

I stitched yesterday for a 1/2 hour. I don't have much staying power beyond that right now, but hopefully in time that will change. I'm working on Velda's RR7 piece. We stitch in opposite directions and I'm working opposite to what I normally do and is the going ever slow! I don't know how much I'll be able to get done. I'll plug away on it. Thankfully there isn't a set amount I have to stitch.

I do know, without a doubt I've got to get the needle moving. I've become quite the collector of WIP. I'm guilty of having 7 pieces on the go right now. You can see why I really need the push of a Finish It Year in 2006.
The list is as follows:
Giggles - Boy
Spirit of Christmas
I'm hoping to start TW's Treetop Sampler in January or February. I'm a hopeless junkie.
